The Sci-Fi Film School #31 - Iron Sky

On this return episode of The Sci-Fi Film School we review the 2012 movie Iron Sky.

A 2012 Finnish-German-Australian produced film that tells the story of Nazi Germans who, after being defeated in 1945, fled to the Moon where they built a space fleet to return years later to conquer Earth.

Iron Sky was theatrically released throughout Europe in April 2012. It was shown on select screens in the U.S. as well.

Rated R for language and some violence it runs 93 minutes.

It was filmed on location in the U.S., Australia, Germany and Finland.

The movie had a budget of about 9 Million dollars and just about broke even at the box office.

Last year it was announced that there are plans for a prequel and sequel.
