The Terminator is a 1984 film directed by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn, Linda Hamilton, Paul Winfield and Lance Henrikson.
Schwarzenegger plays the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from the year 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, played by Hamilton. Biehn plays Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future sent back in time to protect Sarah.
Released by Orion Pictures on October 26th, 1984, the movie was rated R and ran 107 minutes.
The Terminator was made for 6.5 Million dollars and made $78 Million at the box office.
